I... read more spent six days exploring the desert as a female solo traveller with Mohamed, Mahmoud, Abed and Zihaza (our camel) hiking, camel riding and camping. During the day, I hiked through astonishing landscapes with Abed and Zihaza, met Mohamed and Mahmoud for a freshly prepared lunch, continued our hike and arrived at the carefully prepared camp site at around sunset. There, we had dinner and Bedouin tea before spending the night under an endless blanket of stars. Our route took us through an incredible variety of landscapes: Crystal Mountain, Agabat, small and big valley, Old and New White Desert, Djara cave and finally, the Black Desert.
While I was free to immerse myself in the breathtaking landscapes, soak up the quiet and peace of the desert, Mohamed and his team took care of every detail. Their friendly, helpful and respectful manner made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the whole trip. My personal wishes and preferences were taken seriously, making the experience feel truly individual and tailored to me. I would like to emphasise the delicious food prepared every day: Mohamed put great value on fresh and diverse meals throughout the trip, from breakfast (my favourite: Kishk!) and light lunches to dinners featuring chicken, meat, duck or pigeon prepared over the fire – I am genuinely amazed by the Bedouin way of cooking!
I would recommend this incredible adventure to anyone looking for an authentic desert experience.

My wife and I spent an exceptional three-night experience among the Black Mountains and the white formations that seemed as though they had been carefully sculpted in the middle of nature, along endless roads beneath a vast sky unlike any sky I had ever seen before. Every moment was different—from the beauty of the scenery while driving, to the sunset that transformed the desert into a breathtaking painting, and then the peaceful night beneath millions of stars an experience that is difficult to describe in words.
What made the trip even more beautiful was the attention to every detail. Mohamed was more than just a trip organizer; he was a friendly and comforting person who knew the desert very well and knew the places worth visiting, as well as the places that gave you a genuine feeling of being far away from everything. He was always keen to ensure our comfort and to make sure we experienced the journey in a way that suited us. He also speaks English, which was very important to us, as he explained everything to us in detail.
The food in the desert was also a wonderful surprise in itself! Having a hot and delicious meal in the middle of complete silence, far away from the noise of the cities, was one of the most beautiful details of the trip. Sometimes, the simplest moments are the ones that remain in our memories the longest.
Thanks to the good organization and extensive experience, we felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire journey. We had the space to enjoy the place, the peace, and nature, while being accompanied by people who know the desert very well and genuinely care about making the experience special.
This was not just an ordinary tourist trip, but an experience in which you feel that you are discovering a new place and also discovering something new within yourself. The desert gives you a rare sense of peace and makes you stop for a moment, forget about everything else, simply look around, and enjoy the greatness of nature.

From the very beginning of the trip, I felt as if I were surrounded by family, which made the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable for me. The White Desert, with its unique natural landscapes and stunning white rock formations, was an unforgettable experience. The Black Desert, with its beautiful geological formations, was also amazing. In addition, visiting Bahariya Oasis was a different and truly enjoyable experience.
